Software Localization
The term 'localization' denotes the linguistic adaptation of a product to a particular culture or region under consideration of the requirements of the respective target market. Localization is much more than simply a translation service.
During software localization, both the program resources (menus, dialog boxes, error messages etc.) and the related documentation are rendered into the languages required, specifically oriented at the target group and market.
These localization processes are supported by different tools such as Passolo, Trados, SDLX, etc.
